Sierra Vista Hospital Remodel

Sierra Vista Hospital is a 200 bed high level medical service hospital in San Luis Obispo, California. Smith MEP provided construction services for $5,000,000 of a $9,000,000 remodel contract involved construction of an 8 patient Cardiovascular ICU, Nurses’ Lounge, 10 bed Outpatient Facility, 2 Cardiovascular Operating Room Suites, Doctors’ Lounge, the replacement of a 300 ton centrifugal chiller, cooling tower and associated piping to the central plant of the hospital. In addition Smith’s Plumbing Division installed Medical Gas Systems, Domestic Water, Waste Piping, and a new Medical Vacuum Pump. 75 ton Air Handler, ductwork, steam humidifiers, exhaust air for patient isolation rooms. Our Mechanical and Electrical Divisions also worked this contract.
